Thank you for your interest in our Content Tutoring program! We look forward to meeting with you and supporting you in your learning.
This resource includes tips and strategies to help your prepare for your upcoming meeting with a Content Tutor. Please take few minutes to review this information before your appointment so you can make the most of your tutoring session.

Before your appointment, take some time to reflect on what you understand, what you are still working on, and where you ned additional support.
Assessing your learning ahead of time:
Bring practice problems or examples that you would like to work through with your Content Tutor. These may include:
Your appointment time is reserve specifically for you. Arriving on time allows you to make the most of the time available and ensures your Content Tutor is prepared to work with you.
Before your appointment:
If you have an online appointment, please going from a space where you can have your camera and microphone on for the duration of your session.
Using your camera and microphone:
Your Content Tutor will work alongside you to address your questions, work through practice problems, and strengthen your understanding of the course material. Tutoring is most effective when you actively participate in the learning process.
During your session, your may be asked to:
Learning something new often involves trying, making mistakes, and trying again. Your tutoring session is a space where you can work through challenging problems without needing to have everything figured out beforehand.
During your session:
Making mistakes is a natural part of learning. Your Content Tutor is there to help you work through challengers, understand your mistakes, and build confidence to approach similar problems independently.
