Leena El-Maleh

Leena El-Maleh is the Administrative Assistant at the Teaching and Learning Commons, Academic Achievement Hub. Leena completed her B.A. in Political Science and Global Studies with a minor in French at CSU San Marcos. In addition, she completed her M.A. in Political Science with a focus on International Relations at San Diego State University. During her time at SDSU, Leena worked as a teaching assistant (TA) and gained experience teaching and supporting students' educational goals. Furthermore, she has experience working in office management in both the non-profit sector at the Muslim Community Center of San Diego and in public administration at the City of Carlsbad. Leena looks forward to working in an academic environment and providing a welcoming place for students. She also hopes to work with the team to support the goals of the Teaching and Learning Commons in which all students can succeed. Leena greatly values diversity and equity, and she hopes to contribute to the growth and development of the Academic Achievement Hub at UC San Diego.
