Academic Support and Learning Services (formerly Academic Achievement Services) hires Content Tutors to support a variety of undergraduate STEM courses at UC San Diego, including the courses listed below.

• Biology:
  • BIBC 102, BILD 1-3, BICD 100, BIPN 100, BIMM 100 

• Chemistry:

• • CHEM 6A-C, 40 A, B, 41 A - C

• Math:

• • MATH 10A-C, 20A-E, 11, 18, 102, 109, 170A
  • Stats: PSYC 60
  • ECON: 1, 3

• Physics:

• • PHYS 1A-C, 2A-C

Tutors are hired as subject-specific tutors and may be assigned to support more than one subject. To qualify for a subject area, tutors must be able to support all or the majority of the courses listed within that area. 

During each shift, Content Tutors are assigned a specific subject area and are expected to support students enrolled in the courses they are approved to tutor within that subject assignment. 

We are currently seeking tutors who can support one or more of the following subject areas: Biology, Math, Chemistry, and Physics.
