Sample Language for Syllabi

We encourage all of our faculty partners to please consider including some information about our services in your course syllabi/Canvas page. Below you can find sample language.

The University offers academic support services through Supplemental Instruction (SI) for this course. SI is a peer-led program that offers small group sessions to help students deepen their understanding of course material. SI Leaders, undergraduates who have previously taken the course, facilitate active learning through group discussions and problem-solving. SI sessions are available both in person and via Zoom, and no registration is required—just drop in!
